Iggy is pretty indifferent toward people, but will wander up to me occasionally during loft hangout time. He was pretty human-friendly before reaching adulthood, but both my time away from the loft birds and having a wife to woo have made him human-indifferent. He would make a good loft pet and could be good as a breeder for a program producing pet birds, especially if you like fun mismarks!

Dandelion Ash Red Bar Old German Owl Cock 1 year old (hatchdate: 4/2/2020)

Available - Pet temperament, safe to breed* Dandy is one of the friendlier boys in my loft, and his main hobby is snuggling with his wife. He’ll come sit on my legs and hang out but is not as clingy as birds like Jester. He could be a single pet bird but I would prefer that he is paired, since he seems to enjoy spoiling his wife more than most things.

*If you are wanting to breed him, there must be fosters of some kind available. He is very docile, similar to his mother, and may need to have one or both peeps in a clutch fostered due to negligence. However, I have never let him hatch peeps and do not know if this is for sure the case. This measure is for safety reasons, but if you plan to buy him as a breeder be aware that he may need to be retired early due to this possibility.

Luke Blue Bar Old German Owl Hen 1 year old (hatchdate: 5/4/2020)

Available - Pet temperament, safe to breed Luke is a very friendly and human-oriented bird, and likes to fly up to eye level so I’ll pay more attention to her. I have only decided to sell her because I am keeping her sister and two other closely related birds for breeding, and I am trying to keep inbreeding to a minimum. She got her nest temperament from her dad, so she would be safe to have on peeps and has been a wonderful egg mom so far.

Rosestar Blue Bar Old German Owl Hen 2 years old (hatchdate: 4/24/2019)

Available - Pet temperament, safe to breed Rosestar is decently friendly with humans, but fairly reserved. It’s hard to get a read on her current personality since she’s eternally nesty, but she’s willing to hop up on my lap in the few minutes that she’s off the nest. She is an absolutely amazing mother with horrible nest temperament (she will bite. she will hold on. she will not let go.) and has produced some pretty human-friendly and bold peeps.

Cephalotus Blue Grizzle Shield RHxOGO Cock 10 months old (hatchdate: 6/21/2020)

Available - Fairly skittish Cephalotus does not like people much, but he is decently human-tolerant. Less interested in flirting with hens than Clifford, mostly minds his own business and focuses on nesting behavior. Good candidate for a loft pet, and has pretty much perfect temperament barring his skittishness.

(Conditionally) Available - Pet temperament Clifford is one of the largest boys in my loft, and quite a bit more human friendly than his brother. He is not as friendly as birds like Nova, but he is curious about humans and will gladly sit on my legs or shoes to preen and hang out. He is a similar situation to Seth, in that he will only be sold if he is sold with Cephalotus.

Joker Blue Check Shield RHxOGO Hen 1 year old (hatchdate: 4/2/2020)

Available - Pet temperament, safe to breed Joker is nearly as friendly as her sister and father are, but since I’m keeping both of them I can’t keep her. She is a sturdy little hen and has been consistently curious and willing to approach me even after months away. She likes people and would make a wonderful single or paired pet hen, and I’d love to see her used in a breeding program that isn’t mine!

Bug Blue Check RHxOGO Hen 2 years old (hatchdate: 7/25/2019)

Available - Skittish, safe to breed Bug is not a fan of people, but she will get near humans without skittering away if they move. She is not suitable to be an indoor pet, but if paired with a less skittish bird she could likely produce phenomenal peeps like her brother Dusk has. If you would like her as a loft pet she will be adopted out with Seth, who is also fairly skittish and not safe to breed due to expected genetic issues (he is not listed as available because he is only available if he goes with Bug, otherwise he will be kept here as a loft pet).
