SPSI Spring Art Show Opening I got into a local juried show! Please save this date, February 28, for the Opening Night of the SPSI Spring Art Show, 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Many local artists will be featured. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs and mixed media will be on display. I’ll be there with five of my graphite portraits, probably holding a glass of wine, ready to talk about art and art life in the Pacific Northwest. There will be poetry readings, artistically set tables, food & wine, music, new friends, and of course some amazing art. It will be a fabulous show! SPSI, (The Seattle Psychoanalytic Society and Institute), was founded in 1948. SPSI trains mental health clinicians to provide psychoanalytic treatment and trains researchers in the application of psychoanalytic theory to various social settings. SPSI hosts a Spring art show and another in the Fall that usually corresponds with the Madison Park Art Walk.
