it is with a heavy heart that we announce today that Springhill’s story is done for the time being. over the past couple of weeks, we’ve had difficulty getting or maintaining new members, numbers being lower than ever on our ratio and battling low activity from current members despite all efforts of promo or even creating events. we were just two weeks away from being six months up and running, which still feels like an amazing accomplishment as most roleplays around don’t last that long anymore.
we can confidently say we tried everything and as admins, fought until the last breath to maintain this afloat but it feels like the best decision right now, is to close it down with the possibility of a revamp when the time feels right. we’ve tried to be the best admins there could be and we hope we were and that you will remember us as fondly as we will remember you all and your beautiful characters <3.
this group was coincidentally born during a time when the situation around the world got difficult, and it personally served to us as a safe space where we could develop stories and create friendships that were so healing: we hope it served the same purpose for you, as it was always our main goal <3.
we want to thank each and every single member, past or current, that ever became a part of our family and want to let you know that a part of our hearts will always remain with you. the main will go inactive now but will stay around for a couple of days so you can gather your character info if you wish so before we change the theme.
we also ask that, should you wish to continue your character’s journey, you please refrain from mentioning Springhill or any of our locations in your threads from this point forward, as they were created solely for the purpose of being used in this little group.
