I am a sprite, because of my spirit. In my old life, in the other worlds, In my true form, I was what we here would call a sprite or possibly a "pixie"
I am a changeling, because of my path I was put here in this world, in this new form. (fun fact: changelings are not and have never been exclusively fae (although fae, demons, trolls and nymphs were most commonly associated with the role) technically most of you spiritual otherkin/alterhuman/therians are some type of "changeling". (Changelings are also not shapeshifters like how much of modern media has equated them to be, most changelings only change shape the once as a transition, or are changed by another being into the new form)
I am an Elf because of my body. as a 'human' being with the soul of a sprite, and a body affected by faerie magic, I now live my life as an Elf, while I still prefer the more broad term "Elfae" to cling to my sprightly past as well as I can, in hope to one day again return to the faerie as my inner sprite, I accept that now, in this realm, I'm actively Elven:)
