Butt Design has never been so Fine

We have a game called Buttpunchers, so butts are a rather important focus of the game. Because of this much time and effort should go into the main star of the game, the butts. Here is my glorious design process.

PHASE ONE: OUTLINE

The heart shape was actually made to look like that to represent the ass, so I started with that in MS Paint. I also decided we should give the butt little legs.

PHASE TWO: COLOR

Here I went with a pinkish color, I know it isn’t inclusive to make our butt a white person’s butt. But I have to think of my target audience of white males and this will be more relatable.

STAGE THREE: PIXEL ART

Now, many of you out there know that the easiest way to pass off shitty art in your game is to make it pixel art.

‘But Boel’ you ask ‘surely you cannot pixelize this drawing it is unable to be pixeled’

Worry not my gullible friend for I have an ‘old industry secret’

I navigate to www.pic2pat.com and upload my image to be turned into a cross stitch pattern. Check out the results (but this secret is between you and me).

People want to believe in sentient butts. So in order to create this illusion I have added eyes to the top of the butt. Since we are punching these butts they are likely angry so I have also added a furrowed brow. I also filled in the gridlines with black to give it more ‘pop’.

And there you have it, sprite design is as easy as that.
