「 ❤ 」 → despite not being eunbi’s favourite season, winter had a special place in her heart. There was something so magical about the fresh coat of snow when it first fell that time of year. It was whimsical and happy but also cold and emotional. she honestly began to believe the wives’ tale that the person you saw the first snow with would be in your life for a long time. after all, almost every year, she’d seen it with her members, and even now, they were still together, even if they were doing their own things. the winter also held some sentimental feelings for her. it was the time of year that they got to do end-of-year shows which were where she’d made so many of her friends. bumping into someone on the way to the stage or practicing a collaboration stage with them could lead to a lifelong friendship, but even more than that, winter made her feel a sort of satisfaction. a sense of completion at the end of the seasons. it was way to know that as long as she made it to that time, she’d done well.
these were the reasons that she was so excited about the winter gala. seeing friends, embracing the upcoming holidays, and getting to dress herself up and look beautiful? it was exactly her type of event. it was also why when jimin had asked her to be his date, she knew that saying yes was a no-brainer. having fun was definitely something that they knew how to do together, not to mention, he was probably just about the only person she knew who could drink as much as she could without overdoing it. actually, they were pretty much so in sync that even when it came to picking their outfits, they’d picked things that looked good together, without planning to. she leaned into the mirror as she put on her left earring ensuring that it was secure before waddling over to him and turning her back. ❝ can you zip me up? ❞ she asked, pulling her hair to one side so it wouldn’t get caught in the zip.
their hotel room, which they’d gotten to make going to and coming back from the party just a bit simpler for them, was much fancier than most of the rooms she’d had the privilege of staying in during any of her groups’ tours or overseas performances. even if it now looked like a tornado had blown through it where she’d gotten dressed, it still held its penultimate elegance. she looked at the mirror that seemed to reflect the entire room back to them, chuckling to herself as she realized how well their outfits went together. ❝ oppa, we look good together, ❞ she pointed out.
