Welcome to our camp, little sprouts!
Sprouts Cooking Camp visits Grabishfarm - a day to tour the farm, tour the garden, pick veggies from the garden, cook them and enjoy them for lunch. The menu included homemade sourdough bread schmeared with homemade chèvre, grilled garden fresh zucchini, eggplant and salad with tomatoes. The kids learned to make different kinds of vinaigrette salad dressings and also enjoyed some grilled peaches with honeycomb for dessert. Yeah, after dessert there was a milking demonstration - Sweetheart was kind enough to interrupt her afternoon nap to be milked. The kids did an awesome job learning about our farm, asking thoughtful questions and learning to prepare their meal. Our meal was 100% homemade.
