I love a jacket spud as much as the next person. Probably more than most to be fair. I always made a beeline for the jacket potato can when I was in Lichfield.

That being said, I don’t think I’d be up for taking an intercontinental flight for one. Or for queuing from 7am in Tamworth town centre (if you’ve got that amount of time, stick a spud in the oven at home for an hour, grate some cheese, heat some beans and you’re grand. Dont forget the Lurpak).

Social media is bizarre. Truly bizarre. Hope the tatties were banging. And hooray they were free. Minus the cost of the flights and the trains and the hotels of course.
