of which, there were more than actual answers in this briefing. sure, this was a lead, a clear one at that. but just how did arthur obtain it? the question knocks at her throat, but the only reason it isn’t let through is the expression on the head knight’s face. he’s as unsure as them all. but, although it is in no way wise to send so many agents in, even jinhee knows the kingsmen would not be noble in not doing something about it. due to the scarcity of information they had on such a threatening case, it is opportune to send in as many of their eyes and ears they can. the risk is higher this way, and though they are faced with chancing their end each day, they are trained for this -- to be blindsided, and perform like they had seen it.
really, with this decision, the ultimatum arthur serves is either to suck it up, or leave like a coward -- one undeserving to be a kingsman. the choice is obvious, she remains silent, her anxiety only evident through the fingers that curl and fidget with the chain of her suit’s pocket watch.
but, as expected of flipswitch kim jinhee, there’s no fretting once she steps out of the conference room. the watch is settled back into her pocket, time still ticking, steady and unstoppable. the only thing left to wonder is -- what am i going to wear?
