THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE HIS COOKING STYLE IS EXPERIMENTAL .  meaning :  his creations can range from blatantly inedible to surprisingly delicious .  texture and flavor are important elements in his dishes ,  but the most defining trait would be uniqueness ,  combinations surprising and out of the norm .  plenty of recipes are stored in his brain ,  memorized from the bounty of cookbooks in his previous home   (  his guardian had a passion for homemade food  )             he could cook a good dish all - too - easily ,  but deimis considers that a form of plagiarism .  replication is boring to him  ;  the results are all expected ,  unless you’ve made a mistake .  he strives for something different ,  tastes others may not accept at first but he will readily appreciate .

HE DOESN’T HAVE THE BEST TRACK RECORD IN REGARDS TO ROMANCE .  while he may be confident sexually ,  romance is another matter  ;  being demiromantic ,  when he does develop feelings for someone ,  he’ll often avoid acting on them in fear of damaging a precious relationship .  even acknowledging his feelings could take a while                he holds loved ones extremely close at heart ,  would rather keep quiet than risk fall - out .  

ON THE OTHER HAND ,  if in an established relationship ,  he will hold his partner to the highest regard .  deimis is very much a pleaser ,  often too willing to give .  always interested in new ventures ,  he’s the type of person to learn new things and take on new interests for a significant other .  the only thing that’s off - limits is his work  ;  between his workaholic tendencies and the years he’s dedicated to his study ,  he would not give up such a piece of his identity for anything .

THE FLUSH IS ALMOST INSTANTANEOUS .  heat spikes up his neck ,  air cold in comparison at his undone collar .  deimis swallows ,  fingers hesitate on the sixth button .  he dares a glance over his shoulder ,  lips twisted slyly despite the accelerated beat of his heart .     ‘  it’s impolite to keep someone waiting ,  you know .  ’     a pointed gaze shifts to the vibrant paints set on the table ,  deft movements making quick work of the remaining buttons and slipping the white fabric off with a roll of the shoulders .  his head tilts ,  coyly inviting .

HE HAS A TENDENCY TO BE EXTREMELY EXPRESSIVE ,  DRAMATIC EVEN .  however ,  this is somewhat for show  ;  deimis amplifies and exaggerates the emotions he feels are appropriate for a situation ,  subconsciously playing up a human quality to himself .  he struggles with understanding deeper feelings and motivations ,  having spent most of his childhood isolated and without much emotional stimuli             when experiencing more complex emotion ,  he has a tendency to withdraw mentally and immerse himself in work   (  experiments and results he can control .  )   ultimately ,  some form of intervention may be required to force him to open up again ,  or he will likely stall confrontation until the mental turmoil becomes too much to hide from .

TWO BLINKS ,  IN QUICK SUCCESSION ,  before he catches himself .  the weary edges of his eyes soften with fondness ,  a huff of a laugh expelled from quirking lips .     ‘   i’m honored .  well ,  if you insist .  ’     he shifts  ;  glass clinks as he sets tubes and vials down ,  arm sweeping aside to offer the space beside him .  brows lift in invitation .     ‘  join me ?  i hope you’re not planning on staying in that doorway all night .  ’
