{💣}—; It was supposed to be a simple day, Roo hadn’t been expecting anything truly eventful today but it seemed like the universe had something else in the cards for him. He’d simply been lounging and reading a book only to suddenly see a portal open directly over him and before he could do anything, he found himself being aggressively pulled through.
Feeling as if he were dragged down a giant drain, once it was over he landed on his back, and unfortunately for him felt as the book he’d been reading landed on his face as well and covered his eyes momentarily shortly after landing.
Roo reached up and removed the book from his face so he could look around, only to realize that he was in a very unfamiliar and strange territory. It served to tell him that he was definitely no longer anywhere near his museum or even the Wumpa Islands.
Well, he was on an island alright, but not any of the islands he was familiar with. As the kangaroo looked around he saw what appeared to be something that was so out of the ordinary he questioned just how far from home he’d ended up. Roo saw a handful of islands all around him that were floating ,even the one he was on upon peering over the edge he could see was floating so high above the clouds he couldn’t even see the ground.
All the mutant could see were some buildings nearby on the island he was on, so the most he could think to do was look around and see if he could figure out exactly where he’d ended up or ask around. The kangaroo didn’t know if he would stick out like a sore thumb here, being that he was a kangaroo with blue fur and was dressed in a fancy top hat and button up shirt that also worked as a straitjacket. But he’ll find out soon enough as he made his way up to the largest building on this floating island and hoped that he wouldn’t run into trouble in this unfamiliar location.
