This was a photo I took last week of some delicious granola. Not really pictured well here is the raspberry sauce I took the initiative of pouring straight into my bowl of Granola. This was definitely what I consider to be an amazing breakfast, almost perfectly presented and prepared. I can still remember exactly what it tasted like a week later, in particular the sliced plum and peach and the saltiness of the Greek Yogurt buried beneath the fruit. It reminds of tranquility and peace, and I didn’t bring my iphone with me into the restaurant. I found myself focusing on my breathing while I ate and enjoying the small talk between the parents of small children that were all eating near me. Right next to the gorgeous blue Scientology building, and in almost perfect weather, this was a breakfast that was legendary, and exceptionally simple. I think that a well presented and well picked variety of fruit and nuts in your granola really shows quite plainly the amount of care that a restaurant or any cook has for those he or she is feeding. Other items are more elaborate and expensive so it’s the little things like perfectly nestling fruit in a small bowl in such a way to express a pattern of beautiful color that really show the consideration of those who made something for people to consume.
