I did this today as a birthday present for Eira (it’s of Wales) and I really need to practice my blues! Try as I might, I just couldn’t get the blue that I needed for the sea and as a result it really is too cyan. I might try and repaint this one sometime just to try and get the colour right. I tried painting the grass without my glasses on to get some of the different colours within the grass and I actually think it helped, so I might try that technique with another painting and see what happens?
