Squeakers swiftly hopped up upon the table as The mouse sniffed at the offering before digging in. It was a fitting tribute. Squeakers was quite impressed with the human sitting in front of him. The mouse squeaked once again once he had finished eating proceeding to turn about investigating the table and keeping a look out.

Feeling cute, might run away from a cat. Might end a cat's career. Typical day for the mighty Archon of Mice.

The Archon of Mice demands sustenance. Present your offerings posthaste.

An indignant squeak sounded as the individual went to pick up the book. Squeakers was reading that and by reading he meant tracing his nose along under the words like humans did with their fingers. Because that was what reading was and he was not done with this book yet. He had only traced five lines on this page that he was perched on and was not about to allow this human to ruin his progress.

Squeakers stood bravely in front of the massive feline creature. He had been batted betwixt the paws of the furry giant. As the large creature toyed with the mouse but soon they would face their doom for their arrogance. The young mouse rolled to there feet before quickly leaving as the cat crouched to pounce once more. Squeakers racked his small mouse feet against the feline's nose caused the massive titan to rear back and recoil. The cat rubbed at its nose with its paws as Squeakers landed perfectly on his feet. Squeakers letting out a vicious squeak as the feline begrudgingly admitted its defeat by slinking away. Victory was at last Sqeakers.

At least that was how it looked to Squeakers. To anyone else it looked as though the cat had merely gotten bored of playing with the mouse. The cat moving off to the side to curl up lazily in the sun.
