18. Favorite LGBT film oractor? - Carol and Brokeback Mountain are both INCREDIBLE. As for actors? I love so many of them! Ian McKellen is an absolute legend and delight, and Ellen Page is amazing. Laverne Cox, Samira Wiley, Jamie Clayton, Stephanie Beatriz. SO MUCH LGBT STUFF!

My New Years has been BANGIN. And by bangin, I mean my wife was in bed by 10:30 and I'm playing fallout in a knitted rainbow mohawk toque with earflaps and tassles and drinking apple cider covered in cats. Best way to start a new year, I think. Salud!

Are you able to try the tablet on another computer? If possible, try that. if it works on another system, try it on your mac but create a new user profile. That removes any options of it being pfile related. If it doesn't work on a different computer, do you have another cable you can try?

Pt. 2: Also, is the tablet recognized in System Information / System Profiler in your utilities? It should be listed under USB. I'm sorry if this sounds condescending, I super don't mean it to be. I used to work tech support for Apple loooooong ago and sometimes even the most experienced miss things when they're frustrated.Not condescending at all! Cables are fine as far as I can tell, I’ve tried two different ones (the other one worked fine for my PS3 controllers). I don’t have another computer I can plug into, but I just checked, and nothing is showing up under System Info/USB. Now when I’m plugging in, I don’t even get that one blinking light. My best guess is a faulty plug/wire on the inside of the tablet itself :’(

I'm terribly jealous. Wife and I moved to a small town a few years ago and the entire town is filled with muggles whose idea of a good time is watching reality shows and gossiping about who wore what at church.

I could never find people who wanted to play when I was in high school but luckily now I work with a bunch of nerds. :D

Get one of those glass bulb watering things. All you have to do is watch the bulb to see if it's empty. :) OR you can make one out of a plastic water bottle with some small holes punched in the lid. You can do this, you're a boss. I believe in you.

i am imagining a giant contraption held above my tiny brontosaurus with possibly some repurposed salad tongs but i can probably make this work
