Which one did you end up choosing?
I went with the 3rd option, because I was gonna be saving money over option 2, which was definitely my top choice. However, I found out that the electric companies servicing both apartments are different. The company for the apt I went with charges almost double per kwh than the other company. So I’m not saving as much as I thought, almost making the more expensive apartment worth it (my fault for not researching this before signing the lease). Plus, it’s baseboard heating vs forced air and I was in the apt a lot yesterday and I was cold the whole damn time (thermostat’s set to about 75).
However, I do still like the apartment itself. I get a little more room over option 2, and I should still be saving at least a little bit of money. Plus, I’ve already signed the lease and started moving it, so there’s really nothing I can do about it anyway.
