Bloons ocs PART ONE: Heely

I finally get to introduce my Bloons ocs! And I thought I should start with my firstmade child, Heely!

Name: Heelyumm (heely for short + his preferred name)

Age: it’s complicated (due to his complications of being half monkey and half bloon, it’s impossible to figure out his age, speculation says that he’s 18 in monkey years and about 7 months old in bloon years)

Gender: male, he/ him

Personality: kindhearted, and quite nervous sometimes.

Race: crossbreed between monkey and bloon (bloonkey?)

Occupation: dart monkey, sometimes tries out other roles too.

Long info: Heelyumm (Heely for short), is essentially what you would get if a monkey and a Bloon were fused together. Even though his existence may make you assume he was the love child of a monkey and Bloon, his origins and backstory says otherwise. During the creation of a batch of Bloons (yes, I imagine the bloons would reside in a bloon making factory as their headquarters), some monkey DNA (fur) accidentally got mixed in with the rubber latex used for a potentially unfortunate blue Bloon (This would of been Heely’s form if said monkey fur wasn’t added), this caused the Blue Bloon to take on a monkey’s appearance and abilities. Seen as a threat, the Bloons unfortunately rejected him and caused him to flee from the factory. On his journey, he stumbled upon where the monkeys lived and felt like he found a place to belong. At first he lied about his origins to prevent any suspicions but he slowly became frightful at the thought of the monkeys finding out and rejecting (or popping) him so he came clean about everything. Fortunately, the monkeys understood this (albeit being cautious until they realised Heely wasn’t going to be a threat) and accepted him as another fellow monkey. He happily fights alongside the monkeys, despite feeling bad for fighting the bloons as he still feels connected to them in a way. He is really caring and kind towards his fellow monkeys, and he is really helpful when needed.

Fun fact: Heely was originally drawn on a 3DS! Also, his name is play on words for helium.

Bloons ocs PART TWO: Chester

Name: Chester (nicknamed Gummy)

Age: 22

Gender: male, he/him

Personality: Quite cool and laidback, also a little bit cocky when he wants to be.

Race: monkey

Occupation: artisan, provider for weapons (formerly), glue gunner

Long info: Chester is a so called ‘notorious’ glue gunner from Monkey Village. He vows to become one of the best glue gunners on the battlefield, even if it takes him ages. As a young monkey, Chester found an interest in arts and crafts, and by extension, discovered an even bigger interest in becoming a glue gunner monkey in the future. Because of his interest, he would usually get into trouble for making a mess with any glue he got his hands on. Over the years, he adopted the nickname Gummy, which said nickname extended into his adulthood. When Chester got older, he took on the job of providing and delivering weapons for the other monkeys to fight against the Bloons. He would spend every morning carrying crates of weapons to the battlefields. After a year or two of handling weapons, he started to train to become a proper glue gunner. During his training , Chester managed to get advice and assistance from a gang of other glue gunners, thus becoming a part of their group known as the Glue Rainers. These days, Chester contributes a lot to helping out with defending against the Bloons and looking out for the other monkeys in the village (including a certain bloon monkey too!).

Fun fact: Chester is one the best artists in the Monkey Village, he gets quite a lot of commissions from other monkeys and he runs a workshop on Tuesday afternoons for younger monkeys who want to learn how to make their own arts and crafts. Usually, he and the other Glue Rainers have planned game nights where they can just hang out and relax after a long day of popping Bloons!

Going ape rn

Been playing Ape Escape recently so I had to make some ocs for fun. Can confirm Ape Escape has been pretty fun so far! Definitely gonna have to play the other games when I can :)
