yeah there were some theories floating around and half of the fandom (myself included) was like “yeah garnets a fusion for sure” and the rest were like “no thats ridiculous you’re so reaching”…. hahahahahahahahaha

THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT. so happy squaremom is also super canon gay. i was always Quietly Distantly Appreciative of steven universe as one is of things they see on their dash all the time that seem Cool, and i’m glad its panned out so spectacularly so far.
