I’ve seen lots of people in various birding groups ask what they can safely use to deter squirrels from their bird feeders. While I don’t appreciate it sitting directly on the seeds (which does not deter the birds), it always uses its little hands and takes one peanut at a time.

Look how skinny it is. Clearly, they need more than stale bread and tortillas.

something you’ve kept since childhood?

Hmm...a lot of my childhood belongs are lost to time, but one thing I still have from early middle school is from my special secret awesome trip to Disney World where we convinced the principal we were going to a medical convention (dad's a doctor) and that's a hand drawn sketch of simba done by a dinsey artist. :)

Perfume, but specifically Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte from bath and body works

warm but not too hot -- and with a bath bomb if I'm taking a bath
