On the news I heard about a fundraiser called squirrel slam where they shoot squirrels to raise money. There is a petition to stop it, and the news station posted on Facebook about it. People are enraged that animal activists and trying to stop the slaughtering of these helpless creatures. Ok, for 1, can't they find something more productive to do instead of killing a living being? I know it's the vegan in me saying this, but hey their life matters too! And also, it's actually creeping me out that I live in a state that people get excited to shoot squirrels for fun...
