It's a bit counter intuitive because it's message is pretty desillusionating, but it's kind of empowering too I think. If we cannot rely on heroes and idols to be the ultimate good then we ourselves can make the world better, even though we not always heros? It's something I've been thinking about more lately.
Mostly I use music to move backwards though to find back to myself or to remember specific times/feelings, so most of my music is more in that direction:)
