How you think any of the characters you headcanon on the aromantic spectrum react to having a squish, thete / swish, lush, or smush.
I think that Peridot would definitely have to ask for Steven’s advice on this one, and he would be totally supportive (though probably a bit pushy). I could totally see Steven taking it too far by accident, with Peridot having to intervene. This would give Peridot a chance to analyze her feelings and explain them, and Steven a chance to learn to respect people’s emotional boundaries. I think that squishes aren’t all that uncommon in the Hunters of Artemis, and Artemis pairs off hunters with mutual squishes so as to make the group happier and more effective.
