also, i cannot stress enough that mikasa’s eren and reiner’s eren are the same guy in 2 different timelines. they are both older versions of the eren we see at the end of the aot movie and the manga’s extras who’s living in the modern world with goth mikasa and jock reiner. idk WHAT happened to make their paths diverge like this, but it does mean that mikasa’s eren IS capable of being crazy, but it’s either not noticeable or is dormant

levi vs zeke parenting styles:

i think the main reason that mikasa’s eren is not horrid is because he had levi to smack sense into him. this eren is not incapable of terrible things because he is the same person as reiner’s eren (and technically genocide eren), but nurtured in a different environment.

reiner’s eren’s main male figure is zeke, who is a total enabler and also sort of unhinged, so he was able to become the person he is

mikasa would never get together with spiky eren, but i do see some potential alternate future where squishy eren gets traumatized or smth about becomes a depressed househusband. mikasa would probably be working a respectable job and talking to her coworkers about how her bf is coming to pick her up and everyone is wondering what amazing guy he would be, and then some homeless looking guy shows up
