Breezy sunset 🌾🌤 My first illustration of 2025! 

One of my goals for the year is to improve my digital landscapes and backgrounds. I have been painting landscapes traditionally for years yet I can’t seem to translate the techniques into digital art. I also struggle to integrate characters into landscapes. This drawing was way out of my comfort zone, but a lot of fun!

Cousin rivalry - OC concepts (1/6?)

I’ve been meaning to continue my comic that I haven’t updated in checks watch two YEARS?? Oops. I started jogging my memory on it and needed to make some side characters, but I didn’t want them to be boring and then got very very invested in their designs/backstories/relationships. So that’s where I’m at right now.

These are two out of about seven new characters that I made for ~plot purposes~ and my best attempt at concept sheets (thank you, youtube tutorials). They are cousins and rivals since childhood MWAHAHA. They’re good at all the same things, except one is always better by a hair. I wonder if they will eventually learn how to get along? 🤔

I hope to polish up the sketches of the other characters and make more concept art (even though I struggled with these ones an absurd amount). I’m mainly making them for my own reference when making the comic, but I’m excited to share them with you all! Though I start spring semester of school tomorrow so I’ll be back on the grind 😭 Ok enough rambling, bye!!

Introducing my OC Ira!! (she/her) I think this might be my first OC in over three years 😳

Info:

Her design is inspired by Indian culture, and her clothing bears a floral paisley pattern that can be found on Indian fabrics. Her name roots from many different languages, one of which is Sanskrit. I still have to finalize a backstory. To be honest, she ended up looking a lot like me!
