I'm curious about your hesitation to draw real people for the commissions? Like I would be very into a drawing of me in your style to use as like an icon bc I love your art, but I don't want to commission something that would make you uncomfortable.

it’s because i’m afraid i won’t be able to capture the person’s likeness properly! i feel like a lot of the portraits of real people i do are like... off, in some way, but i’m still willing to give it a shot!

I will continue to be vocal about the fact that my arts degree was harder work and more intellectually challenging than my business degree. By a long shot.

like do business majors routinely pull all-nighters? because i know theatre majors and grad students do. all the time. they need to go home and they don’t! they don’t go home! artists will work themselves to fucking death and “ha ha an art degree what a lazy jerk”
