I don't know why it didn't click until today, but I decided to rewatch WX-78's short and what are the things they smear out on the whiteboard several times throughout the animatic? Their own Empathy Module. Over and Over. There's no point to this ramble other than to point this out to anyone else who hadn't noticed, honestly.

I've been on a Phasmophobia kick and now i'm just thinking of the Season 1 gang going ghost hunting.
Jon's incredibly skeptic and keeps assuming that Tim is faking all the evidence, even when it's put directly in front of his face by the ghost itself.
Martin is independent but knows Jon is a little stupid so he sticks nearby on the off chance that he'll get hurt. Definitely knows Something is haunting the place but is trying very hard to be friendly with it so it doesn't hurt his friends.
Tim definitely does pull pranks on them from time to time. It makes it hard to believe if he's crying wolf when he actually DOES find the ghost, but Sasha always has his back, even if he's lying about it.
Sasha :) She loves talking with the spirit over the spirit box. Always incredibly professional and level headed, even when in the face of threats. She's definitely made for this.
