“Shane’s finally down for now,” Nick gently announces as he returns to the living room and plops down onto the couch next to the alpha.

It’s hard to believe that Jack had already been here a week, and Nick hated that their time is already halfway through. And yet, the fact they’ve synced so well when it comes to functioning as a pack in such short time is baffling. Nick knew Jack was going to be a great help, but he still can’t help but feel a bit badly that his time here seemingly overlaps with the worst of Shane’s teething.

With a soft sigh, he moves his head against Jack’s shoulder, looking up at him from where his head lays.

“What do you want to do now?”
