"Hey, sam! Just checking in to make sure than everything's okay on the job. Heard you were gonna be out on patrol all weekend, though :(

Well, i'm gonna miss you while you're out. Please text me back whenever you see this to let me know that you're okay.

[He saw the text as soon as he got the notification, ignoring the text, decided to respond later. Wouldn't affect anyway. After some minutes he sent a text back to Charlotte for the sake of just responding.]

“I'm okay. Don't worry about that.”
