I was worried about watching the video too. I really didn't want to feel disappointed by Jensen or the show but after I realised that people had really taken it out of context. He wasn't being nasty about it either, he was taking it in jest! I still do believe that Destiel is canon or at least will be. ^^

Thank you! This whole debacle proves so much that you can't go by tweets or con reports or even transcripts. You really have to watch the video and SEE FOR YOURSELF.
People are very very sensitive and touchy about Destiel. I mean, I am too. I was afraid to watch the video. Jensen is not really aware what a touchy subject it is. And even if he were, obviously he can't sit there in the moment and consider how his words will look out of context, written down, when he's deciding what to say. I'm sad for Jensen that this actually very nice thing that he said caused yet another big wankfest in fandom.
I've unfollowed anyone that I've seen send hate and I report anyone that I've seen bully another person, I 100% will not tolerate it. -supernaturalfandom101 x
I think that's a very reasonable way to do it. The only reasonable way, probably.I'm pretty much the same, though I have (fortunately) never seen a tumblr user bully someone, except anonymous (unfortunately). I just don't understand why anyone should put up with all this negativity and hate in their free time!
So here's a hug to you and everyone else who tries to stop the hate and bullying on this site (and in general). (っ⌒‿⌒)っ
