Emmy and Hecate exploring the haunted trails of Jorvik.
October is the time when the veil between the loving and the dead is at its thinnest. Something might be following them? 👀 🎃

I was to thank @sshadovv for this incredible opportunity to commission her! I have been such a huge fan of her work. Please follow and engage with her on here and Tumblr as well. 💜
Time to start a countdown. Riders of Jorvik 1.1 will be releasing November 15th, 2022.
I know I haven't talked a lot about ROJ on here, but figured I'd share it now in case I forget to post things here later. But consider joining the ROJ Discord or following the ROJ Instagram because I'll be giving away at least a couple physical prints of ROJ that are otherwise unavailable (I cannot normally just give away $30 USD print books and I can't sell them, so).
Also, since I brought it up recently, there is only one more open one shot I'll be running of ROJ before 1.1 comes out so I can focus on editing and launch and then those events on the ROJ Discord will be gone until sometime in 2023 (no set return). If you're interested in joining a game, last chance is Oct 1st for a good while. I'll still be available to teach people how to play, I just won't be running games myself.
Part of Liv's backstory involves meeting her soul steed, and I wrote a fic about that day. The link is here.
about me:
I'm 21 years old and have been playing sso since 2014. I'm level 21 on sso and I was a part of the ssoblr community before it was called ssoblr. I think I first joined around 2016 but in 2017-18 I deleted my account and didn't look back, until recently. I missed being a part of a community centered around a shitty horse game that I've loved since a child, and since I'm out of uni for the time being, I figured now was a good time to reintroduce myself. Truthfully, I've been very scared to do so but I'm hoping to just reblog some funnies and relate to others about the game.
It’s not your job... to create fandom content even.
You don’t have to own every horse/item. You don’t have to win every race, get every achievement b/c this is not a job. If it feels like a job/slog, then please, take a break. If you’re having fun in the game, that’s enough. Period. You’re free.
Dear SSO Ambassadors...
you aren’t being paid.
It’s not your job... to interact with those that hurt your emotional health.
It’s not your job... to promote Unofficial SSO events.
It’s not technically your job... to create fandom content or pass along glitches or promote SSO events b/c you aren’t being PAID. All you’re doing is giving them free marketing/exposure at cost to you in time/your labor.
If being an ambassador and passing along glitches/ideas/etc is interfering with your mental/emotional health or keeping you from pursuing your dreams, please feel free to step back. Don’t give SSO free labor you can’t afford to emotionally/mentally give. It’s okay. Take care of you first!
Lots of love and hugs. Take care of yourselves. Be safe.
We hope you’re all having a wonderful new year and to encourage some artistic growth here is our February challenge based around SSO’s new constellations! Feel free to approach the challenge however you like from any medium, complete one, a few or even all of the prompts as long as you have fun. We’ll be looking forward to seeing what you create in the #jcfeb2021 tag!
Just wanted to share the hashtag #WeStandByYouSSO that Madison Zebrabaker has started on ig. Since it's very relevant and the teams really deserve some love, so go check it ouuutt
