Time to start a countdown. Riders of Jorvik 1.1 will be releasing November 15th, 2022.

I know I haven't talked a lot about ROJ on here, but figured I'd share it now in case I forget to post things here later. But consider joining the ROJ Discord or following the ROJ Instagram because I'll be giving away at least a couple physical prints of ROJ that are otherwise unavailable (I cannot normally just give away $30 USD print books and I can't sell them, so).

Also, since I brought it up recently, there is only one more open one shot I'll be running of ROJ before 1.1 comes out so I can focus on editing and launch and then those events on the ROJ Discord will be gone until sometime in 2023 (no set return). If you're interested in joining a game, last chance is Oct 1st for a good while. I'll still be available to teach people how to play, I just won't be running games myself.

With the ROJ 1.1 release just around the corner, I wanted to commemorate the launch with a giveaway. You are welcome to do this challenge just for fun, but with just a couple tags, you can enter for a chance to win a physical of ROJ, which will only be available in giveaways.

This is an open art tag, but all entries will be a ticket in a raffle for a physical of ROJ. To enter, make some kind of content (art, edits, writing, etc) detailing what your SSO OC would look like if they woke up in a D&D world. Entries need to include the following so that I can find them:

- Your original creation (I will be image searching to verify) - Your character's D&D race & class

- #ROJAdventurer in the tags and/or description

- Tag either ROJ's socials or my main socials (you can find them all in the credits of ROJ). I'm on a couple of platforms so this is not exclusive to Instagram to enter.

To start, there is only 1 copy I will be giving away. However, if ROJ's Instagram hits 500 followers by the end of the giveaway period, I will give away 3 copies. If it reaches 1k followers, I will give away 5 copies. Winners will be drawn and announced Nov 1st and will have 48 hours to respond or I will redraw a winner. ARC readers will not be entered into this raffle for fairness reasons.

Y’all, holy shit, it’s out! It’s here! I can’t believe this is happening! I really hope y’all enjoy it, and I really hope there’s something in this 3 1/2 hour interview that gets you excited about the game’s future. Just, again, thank you so much @sorceressferaly for doing this with me and I really hope y’all enjoy it!

But seriously, please, please, please talk and share this interview. Not even for my channel or this blog. This is a 3 1/2 hour interview about the game, not to mention what this does to break down barriers between the team and the community. What interviews like this could do for the future of SSO have me excited, myself removed from getting to hold one again. So for the sake of what’s talked about in here and the game, please share and talk about the interview, what you’re excited about from it, what you wish we’d talked about, what you disagree with, any of it. I want more of this for the community, but I can only do so much of this on my own.
