Simvivor Season 1 - Episode 11

After Tribal Council:

Alfred, Sunshine and Zeke have a group meeting - with Alfred & Zeke confused about how the votes went down. Zeke explains his distrust of Jackie, proven by her vote for him. Both accept this - though Sunshine is hurt for having been left out of the plans.

Meanwhile, the old Trabaka tribe have a meeting across the camp, with Mo & Blake both celebrating Tony’s successful persuasion of Zeke. Tony smiles, but admits in confessional there’s still a lot of game to be had and he’s concerned about the future.

We zoom out on two very clear factions: one celebrating, one trying to figure out how they’ll get the numbers back.

Before Immunity:

Zeke goes to get some honey for the tribe, having mostly tamed the bees. Tony follows him for a discussion about what they should do next strategically. Zeke suggests taking out Mo, but Tony accuses him of wanting to do this to keep Sereda numbers. Zeke argues that he helped Tony and now it’s his turn to help him out.

Meanwhile, Mo approaches Sunshine in the vegetable patch and the two garden together. Sunshine opens up about her insecurities in the game and Mo helps her calm down - telling her that at the end of the day, it is only a game and the group will remain friends aftewards.

Sunshine asks Mo if he’d consider voting Tony, to which he agrees. However, he reveals in confessional that this is an attempt to split the Sereda 3 - expressing that he has very little doubt this will actually work.

Immunity: Clay Day

Castaways must mould different clay sculptures which will be judged by a local group of artists. However, the sculpture must be completed in a certain time - with the last to finish also being eliminated each round.

In the first round, Blake is the slowest and so is automatically eliminated. It is then revealed that Zeke made the worst sculpture as it falls apart on the stand. They are both eliminated. 

In the second round, Tony is the slowest - focusing too much on the artistry and less on the race. Mo is also eliminated for the worst sculpture, having finished 8 minutes before the rest of the castaways - but at the cost of detailing. They are both eliminated - leaving Sunshine and Alfred in the final.

Both are tasked with designing a tribe totem pole. Alfred goes for a traditional style, meanwhile Sunshine makes an abstract idea that is supposed to incorporate a little piece of each eliminated castaway. 

Ultimately, this passion wins Sunshine immunity.

Winner: Sunshine

Reward: 6 Hours at the Resort, with 2 castaways of Sunshine’s choice. She selected Zeke and Alfred.

Exiled: A Castaway must spend the night at exile. Sunshine chooses Tony.

Reward & Exile & Back At Camp:

Tony is annoyed at being sent to exile. However, he uses this time to think and theorise about the rest of the game using sticks in the exile hut.

Meanwhile, Sunshine & Alfred enjoy the reward as a break from game talk - messing around and dancing to the music provided.

However, Zeke uses the time to strategise - similar to Tony. He tries to figure out a way of splitting the other sides votes, but concludes that Tony is their only hope of not causing a tiebreaker challenge.

Mo has a chat with Blake, stating they have to pick the right target after Tony’s tendency to flip to the other side. He suggests Alfred, stating that he thinks he can use Sunshine to their advantage. Blake agrees.

Before Tribal:

Tony returns from exile and requests a meeting with Old Trabaka. Mo pitches their idea of voting Alfred.

However, Tony reveals his master plan - which is that they need to vote Zeke. He claims he is the mastermind of the Trabaka tribe and needs to be eliminated. This shocks Blake & Alfred, knowing Tony’s relationship with Zeke in the round previous. Mo tries to discourage this vote - but is only met with a nasty backlash from a power hungry Tony.

Meanwhile, Alfred & Zeke suggest voting for Mo. They seem to see him as the most threatening member of the tribe - with Zeke suggesting that Tony is most likely to vote Mo out over Blake. Sunshine seems skeptical.

Mo asks Sunshine to talk before tribal, letting her know that Zeke is the target and urging her to vote Tony with him. She agrees immediately, and says she’ll get her side to flip. However, Mo tells her to keep quiet so this comes as a blindside and doesn’t create tension in the camp that could change the outcome.

Tony and Zeke also have a chat - with Zeke urging Tony to vote out Mo. He asks Zeke to vote Alfred, but this irritate Zeke who once again states that he won’t be used as a number and needs Tony to help him to prove his loyalty. Tony says he’ll think about it, which irritates Zeke.

Zeke reports back that he isn’t sure how Tony will vote. Sunshine suggests voting him, but Zeke insists that they have more chance breaking Trabaka if they put votes on Mo.

The Votes:

First vote.... Alfred.

Second vote... Alfred.

Third vote... Mo.

Fourth vote... Mo.

Fifth vote... Zeke.

Sixth vote... Tony.

We have a tie meaning a re-vote will occur without Alfred or Mo being allowed to vote.

First vote.... Alfred.

Second vote... Mo.

Third vote... Alfred.

Fourth vote... Mo.

We still have a tie meaning a tie breaker challenge of catch will now take place.

Both men shake hands as they begin the match.

Mo is the favourite because of his martial arts background, however Alfred is surprisingly good at keeping up.

Mo begins to tire as Alfred continually throws back stronger and stronger throws.

Alfred spins the ball with expert precision, ultimately causing Mo to dive the wrong way and drop the ball.

Mo, after two votes and a challenge, the tribe has spoken. 

We will see you again though as you are the fourth member of the jury.

First Vote:

Zeke & Alfred voted for Mo.

Mo & Blake voted for Alfred.

Tony voted for Zeke.

Sunshine voted for Tony.

Second Vote:

Sunshine & Zeke voted for Mo.

Tony & Blake voted for Alfred.

That was risky but I'm glad you got in cause you've made it really far! I saw it too and I had nightmares about it. Twisters just appeared in my dreams and I live in California. There are like no tornadoes here! It was really scary. I constantly dream about natural disasters too, especially volcanoes and tornadoes. Tsunamis are scary too. I live close to the beach but not close enough for one to reach. But yesterday it rained so much and some streets flooded! How was your day by the way? -SSS1

hahah YES IT WAS SO RISKY AHHH but thank you so much!! :) hahah! you don’t have tornadoes but you have earthquakes which also freak me out!!! but not as bad as tornadoes haha. Oh no, we get floods here too sometimes but I don’t think we’ve ever had a really bad one like those you see on the news sometimes… my day was good! I have been substituting all week at the high school level but it was for like orchestra so it was fine and no bad students really. haha. but i am so ready for winter break! this coming friday is the last day of work/school and I get paid so I’m really excited haha!!

Haha, you tell them girl! Anyways if they decide to screw up, I don't think their teacher will be very happy to hear about their behavior. I love enchiladas! They are so good! Thank you!! So far it's going really well! I already applied to some colleges. I had to get some recommendations from the local meteorologist cause there isn't many schools that offer it in California. Now I just hope I get in. I think I would be scared of tornadoes too but I just find them to be so interesting -SSS1

oh that’s awesome!! i actually only applied to one college which was NC State and then thinking back on it I’m like horrified because what if i hadn’t gotten in and then i had no back up college that i had applied to… i still can’t believe i did that haha because usually i am so careful.. haha. oh well, good thing it worked out for me! oh that’s so cool, i bet they were interested to hear that you were wanting to be a meteorologist! Hahah I just remember watching the Twister movie when I was growing up and it just scared me so badly even though it was in like Kansas or wherever tornado alley is haha. But whenever its tornado season i just get so tense like the whole severe weather stuff freaks me out because there is absolutely NOTHING you can do about it haha.. i think my biggest fears in terms of natural disasters are tornadoes and tidal waves .. like the idea of just watching a tornado approach you or tsunami coming is absolutely TERRIFYING to me… i have nightmares about that stuff sometimes haha.

Cool! I don't think I would be able to be a teacher. I don't have much patience and I can't teach that well but I imagine you do. Yeah, I'm in high school and I've seen how some students treat subs. It's really sad. Aw, that's sweet and I bet you are one of the best/nice subs out there :) I usually have Mexican food everyday cause I'm Mexican so that's really nice :P Right now I'm a senior in high school! I hope to be a meteorologist one day! I have this thing for severe weather :) -SSS1

Haha well it’s definitely not for everyone but I think that’s how all jobs go!!! Yeah kids can be really mean to subs and I told that bad class that they could be as bad as they want i could just stand there and let them talk and i’d get paid regardless if they did their work or not Hahahahahahahaha. sorry i crack myself up haha. Oh!! That’s awesome! Mexican food is so good. I loveeeeee refried beans so much!! And enchiladas! I bet homemade Mexican food at your house is so good! Oh well congrats on being a senior!! I hope your senior year is going well! So if you want to be a meteorologist (Which is super cool by the way) are you looking at colleges to go to? Also TORNADOES FREAK ME OUT I AM SCARED TO DEATH OF THEM!
