omg I just saw your film challenge 2012 on your page, and how did you do that?! ooh and are you going to start a new challenge for the new year?

sldkfjsd how did I do the layout or just watching all of those movies? LOL

I used to stream movies from Netflix whenever I was doing something else (working on art projects/sketches, cooking/baking, cleaning/organizing, browsing Tumblr, playing Harvest Moon on my DS...) YOU COULD SAY I CHEATED AND LISTENED TO FILMS MORE THAN WATCHED but if some dialogue caught my interest then I genuinely stopped multitasking. I also made it a point to see at least one movie in theaters every month.I had originally planned to start a new film challenge this year but... I realized that in the 7 months I was out of school I didn't watch nearly as many films as I could have. So... no, to simply answer your question but I'll probably still track whatever films I DO watch. This year I set a small reading goal of 15 books for 2013 and to also continue with daily doodles of what I wore!

16. Favorite quote: Ok, so I think mine is this poem by Walt Whitman. It's really short, so I think it qualifies as a quote... Here it is: "O YOU whom I often and silently come where you are, that I may be with you; / As I walk by your side, or sit near, or remain in the same room with you, / Little you know the subtle electric fire that for your sake is playing within me." Is that not ridiculously sexy?

17. Favorite Singer: Just based on voice on no other aspect of their music? Ella Fitzgerald. Can't go wrong with a classic.

31. Last book you read: Shit. I hardly get time to read anymore because of school... If we're including school, then Fun Home by Alison Bechdel. If we're NOT including school, then it's probably Perks of Being A Wallflower, which I re-read for the millionth time before the movie came out.

What is that one show/movie/fandom that you’ve been meaning to get into, but you just can’t? It was New Girl but now I am starting to finally watch them and life is good. I don't think there are any fandoms that I want to join but haven't already joined. 2. If you could have a nice long conversation over drinks with only one musician/band, who would it be and what would you talk about? Let's not pretend, it would be Mumford and sons and it would be me sitting gawking at them and them thinking I am mental while I ask them to play the banjo. And then I would cry. I think this is less a weird habit and more the highlight of everyone's day, yes? 4. You know you have that one guilty pleasure that you don’t like to tell anyone, but come on, it’s Tumblr here. So what is it and why are you embarrassed by it? My guilty pleasure is that I love celebrity gossip and I retain everything I read about it. It is so fun at the time and then I unfortunately remember terrible things like the names of the people in One Direction or the plots to tv shows I have no interest in. But I love the magazines so much. 5. Which Disney character are you the most emotional over (or one that you connect the most to)? Belle is my favourite Disney character and Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney film. I love Belle so much because I feel like she is responsible for why I am the way I am. Not only with the books and love of learning things, but when she says that she 'wants more that this provincial life' I hear myself saying the exact same thing. I cannot wait to get out of this town and start something new. I just love her. 6. Tis the seasons! Which seasonal food or drink do you obsess over the most? I love Christmas more than most things. I don't know if I can choose just one food or drink, I just love everything Christmassy. 7. If you could pick out the one common denominator from your group of friends, what would it be? It is awful, but we are a little pretentious... 8. Since Halloween has passed now, what is that one candy/chocolate you are overly protective of? What is that one show/movie/fandom that you’ve been meaning to get into, but you just can’t?

I cannot do Star Trek TNG and Buffy. I really, really, want to watch them, but I- Just- I can't... no.

If you could have a nice long conversation over drinks with only one musician/band, who would it be and what would you talk about? You had to ask a music question didn't you? Well, as someone who has never really been that into bands or musicians, I really have no preference. I suppose Childish Gambino, but I warn you I would not be talking to Donald Glover about his music (which I do enjoy, thank you very much), so much as talk to him about any other possible topic, because I sound like an idiot when talking about music.

What really weird habit do you have that people always point out? Um, I'm like super duper neat. Like, people would walk into my room and used to just be like "What the fuck?" Not so much with my dorm anymore.

You know you have that one guilty pleasure that you don’t like to tell anyone, but come on, it’s Tumblr here. So what is it and why are you embarrassed by it? Hm, that's a hard one. Between my close friends, I don't keep that many secrets or I tell them my guilty pleasures, so they're not really that embarrassing. I suppose one thing I do is when I'm super stressed out I like to make the whole box of pasta, literally a pound, and eat it leisurely over the day while catching up on my shows. It's embarrassing cause I'm a pig I guess? I also read terrible fanfics laaaate at night, but I'm sure everyone on tumblr does that.

Which Disney character are you the most emotional over (or one that you connect the most to)? This is going to sound really stupid, but Pocahontas. When I was a wee lass, there were no Disney princesses of color, except for her, so that was what my father called me- 'Pocahontas'. So, yeah, she's who I connect to the most (sorry Tiana), and every time I hear Colors of the Wind I righteously say "She's so right!" before I break out into the chorus with her. The one I get most emotional over? That's an entirely different ballgame, and I'd have to say Woody. Oh geez, tears in my eyes, I fucking love that cowboy.

If you could pick out the one common denominator from your group of friends, what would it be? I actually had to try to remember what a common denominator was. You made me think of math Irene! Shame! Anyway, it would be our mutual interests. And by that I mean fandom keeps us together. And love! Because I love you all.

To the point where you will hiss at them if you see someone eyeing it? Lollipops, pretty much any candy I can put in my mouth and suck on for a while... fuck, I'm so sorry about that sentence. (I also enjoys caramels, milk duds, and whoppers. I would say candy corn was the candy I'm overly protective of, but I appear to be the only being on the planet that favors it.)

Who is someone you don’t think you can live without? Why are you so thankful for them? (Go over and hug them for me (: pls) Uh, uh, UH! Too much pressure. Shit, er... My mother! Yes, my mama, because it's been just me and her from day one. I can't really hug her though, she lives on the other side of the country. God Irene!

Which subject do you think you’d be great in? As a naive child I placed myself in Gryffindor, but by the time I hit sixteen I realized I have always been an uppity, selfish, ambitious Slytherin from the start. I think I would be real badass at Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts. 

Even if I dislike science and math, I would love to be a scientist who researches diseases and bacteria; so what is that one career you would have loved, but won’t pursue because you’re not quite so good at it? Um, superhero? Billionaire? Those don't count? Okay. I would love to be an architect, I love architecture so much it hurts.
