I was just having a 3 am snack and suddenly got hit by the thought that if Luca was still alive and didn't get to travel the world like they wanted to, there is a chance they might have become MCs retainer and I... I just need to sit down and look into the middle distance for a while

I love the idea of a dignified and manipulative mc, the perfect princep to their mother and the empire, who is secretly gentle and sincere but had that melded out of them by their mother, and it's just Luca trying to keep those parts of mc alive, like in the dream sequence. Luca just sitting there going no, your mother is wrong, stop listening to her and save your sibling from the tasty snek (only snake I've eaten tasted kinda like chicken, a totally innocent observation) And then they meet the Circus, and Therapy ensues (and trauma, but that's old news. Feelings are the real horror here, lbr)
Everyone will get their turn getting pummeled with the disgusting sensation known as feelings 🤝
hypothetically iffff we were to summon the ros (+ maybe lexi and luca), what items should we put in the summoning circle to do so?
Kieran: two training swords and a proposition for a duel. 1v1 them. Throw a romance novel and a neat lil fish in there too.
Nihm and Alektis: literally just loudly exclaim you’ve found a cool bug and they will appear. Sacrifice your best pun for Nihm. Alektis is also a total horse girl so you can throw a horse in there for good measure. Or say you saw a bug riding a horse. 🫵😨 (woagh)
Lilith/Lucien: their fave flower tho i cant share what it is rn. Or find a stray kitty/doggy that needs petting. Also extremely competitive so you can throw a strategy game like chess in there and your impending defeat will be both bloody and righteous.
Samira: cool foreign plant—she loves reading thru foreign plant catalogs. Or you can refuse to take your tonic and then loudly and repeatedly complain about your headache :( (only recommended if you dont value having uncrushed bones)
Aurynn: prolly hardest to summon. Gonna have to make it worth his while since you dont have what he wants most. Throw down your coinpurse and go flatter him and buy him dinner
Luca: competitive so they’ll take up a challenge too but they’re most interested in certain foreign books, travel logs, and items i cant go into detail about rn.

It’s out of their hands but they wouldn’t want to even if they could. They’re afraid of being left alone without their oldest friend.

I've thought about it a million times and this is the first time I'm Actually doing it BUT I've been meaning to just say how much I love the Luca/Lupine scene with PC which talks about care, and love, and kindness, or some combination of those things? Nour with the snake, and then trying anyway because you care even if it is hopeless? It gets me every time! I adore it. It's just--breathtaking, and soul hurting in a way that is healing. Each time I do a play through, I'm sure I get stuck on that scene three times.
Not sure if this makes any sense, but I hope it does. The entire IF is incredible and I love all the characters and the world building and the intricacies all coming together. But I think that scene changed my brain chemistry in a way I hope will stick with me forever.
So anyway, this ask is really just a bit of a love letter to your IF and that scene in particular <3
