Guinness Storehouse, St. James's Gate, Dublin, Ireland
In my top ten on the "Great Ale" list . . . say "Smiddicks."
Dublin, Ireland from the top of St. James's Gate Brewery
What is arguably one of the best beers that's readily available almost anywhere? Simple...Guinness Draught. I've seen it at almost every bar, pub, grill, supermarket, anywhere with food almost always carries this. Boy is this beer good; this is a macro brew done right. Guinness pours out a dark black color with an off white creamy head. Great head might I add too; very sizable, great retention, and wonderful lacing. This is textbook great head. Sweet and malty aroma, almost chocolaty and roasted. Flavor is very subtle and works wonders. It almost creamy with the flavors of roasted malts with a smokey and chocolatey undertone. Easy to drink and easy to enjoy. Cheers!
