I had this thing happen to me and my mind created the perfect cartoon rendition of it but I stink at putting my brainwaves onto paper so I'll just tell y'all about it and maybe make an attempt later

so I was at work doing my thing I think I was between customers and I kinda put my hand on the counter to lean on it a little and the barcode scanner beeped

the thing hecking tried to scan my arm hair

and that hurt because all this body hair is a big dysphoria thing for me so I imagined a little cartoon me putting her hand on the counter and then the beep showing up with a big old arrow shooting through me like a big oof

I will try to draw it later but if you have any artistic ability please feel free to give it a shot yourself bc it's very silly

so apparently

my favorite coworker has known I'm trans basically since we met

so has her brother who also works with us and his husband

I only found out bc I finally decided to question her jokes about me being gay (I'm not, I've told her I'm ace, so we laugh about it together bc it's silly)

I was like hey do you unironically believe that or is it just fun to tease me

and she goes "I don't think you're gay I think you're trans but that's harder to make fun of"

like girl how did you know????

she was super chill and awesome about it tho so basically I came out to someone in person for the first time today and it was nice :3

turns out all it takes to get me to actually wash my body in the shower every day is a bar of soap that makes it smell like I'm showering in lemon juice
