          The look on Ethan’s face might as well be amusing ; he had to admit- that was smooth and a very common line that he’d hear every once in a while from the people around him. He should’ve expected it- he really should’ve. Maybe it was the way she said it that made him flustered. “I’m sorry-” he uttered, looking down. His cheek probably pinked by her words. The doctor soon lifted his head, fanning his face a bit: “That was a good one, I’ll admit it. You had me blushing.”

His eyes attached to her for a few minutes until he shook his head, grabbing his phone once more. His eyes now glued to the number of emails piled on him. “You never could,” he mumbled to himself - so low that even he couldn’t hear himself say it.
