I loved that the “movie” Sam was talking about was basically “The Metamorphosis”. Which gives us all these amazing parallels for Dean

I KNOOOWWW! I have written multiple metas about “The Metamorphosis” in relation to Dean’s metamorphosis in S9 over the hiatus last year. And it’s making me ridiculously happy that one season later now the show outright references the book. I don’t know.... it just makes me fangirl!!! :)
