fidgeting with his gloves, the young prince looked down as he heard the familiar heels of the eighth walked over to where he sat. loneliness was killing kaeya, and his bright blue eye had tears in them as he looked up at her and blinked a few times.

      to be called to father's office was always a sort of gamble : you either got a mission assigned to you , or end up being needed for whatever other reason the knave found necessary . lynette never fought these , why would she ? it seemed like a dumb idea to do so , overall . and the young woman had a better head on her shoulders than that .
