Maybe if Leon hadn't encountered HELL on his first day on the force in Raccoon City, and maybe if he hadn't ALSO encountered various other missions ( Ganados, Saddler, LAS PLAGAS ) with far worse foes, then he'd have cowered and hid. Not risen up to the challenge, but lowered from it.

Unfortunately for Susie, Leon had, in fact, encountered horrors far worse than her.

Hand moved instinctively to just below his shoulder, attempting to retrieve his gun ( Red9 or something! ) from its USUAL place within his shoulder holster. When he felt nothing, he straightened slowly. Of course.

⇾ A smile ghosted on her lips as she heard the words. Her expression was almost amused as if he had just told her a joke. She had been part of the manor for so long and there were things that she had tried to make it more interesting. It certainly would’ve been interesting to see the survivors struggling to fix it or realizing that the only way to escape from this game was broken and they had to repair them first. 

⇾ Mary let out a little sigh, her gaze on one of the cipher machines in front of her. It truly was a shame that she couldn’t break it and completely destroy it. She would’ve done it in a heartbeat only to see the panic on the survivor’s faces.

Sadly there is nothing we can do to destroy them, no matter how much we tried. “ She had tried it a few times, unlike some other hunters that didn’t seem to care much for it and were in rather for the fun of chasing the survivors. The Queen had her fun with it as well, yet it didn’t mean that breaking the cipher machines wouldn’t make her job easier.

I don’t really have a hard time doing so, at least. “ Her ability was useful in such situations, it really was. “ I know that some other hunters tend to have certain strategies. The most important thing to know is who is the strongest one out of them and get rid of them first. “ The truth be told she hadn’t paid too much attention to a strategy, mainly as it was not necessary for her, for the most part. “ If you want to slow them down, the easiest way would be to directly attack the strongest one or the fastest one of them. “

Well, since Connor is an Andriod, he’d have to be programmed with a large verity of subjects to help him solve cases but I think he only started to become successful once he started to deviant, leaving room for self-learning and problem-solving. 

As for his view on the matter, he things a good dose of both is in order. Much like at the academy, you’re taught how to do a procedure and do something correctly but criminals don’t follow guidelines and to be successful, you sometimes need to think outside the box.

I almost did this with Connor, to be honest. At the time I made this blog and thanks to a dbh master list that was active at the time. I considered not making Connor because there were over 300 other Connors I’d be competing for interactions with. I didn’t have much of a foothold in the fandom in terms of friends so it was a pretty fresh start from my old fandom.I thought, ‘who is really going to want to interact with a brand new Connor when there are several that have been around and are more established verses my take on him? it’s not that interesting and out of 300 other people, I’ll likely stay under the radar.’ But Connor was pretty persistent and adamant that I make his blog and I was sure within 2 weeks, he’d be over him and delete. I’m glad to say I’m as passionate about him now as I was back then and would have missed out on some amazing experiences and relationships if I hadn’t made him.

So no, I’ve never not gone through with making a character I genuinely wanted to play. I’ve had plenty of muses fail as a result but some take and some don’t and that’s just the name of the game sometimes. There will be people who have no interest in your characters and some that will see that same character and love them to death and I appreciate those who love my characters to death and respect those that don’t.

Really, this is a matter of RP experience with a mix of different characters. The most consistent has been with Chloes, which is funny. 

He likes her, thinks she’s pretty but after the revolutions done and shes still blindly loyal to a man that put a gun in his hand and ordered him to shoot her. He wants absolutely nothing to do with them, which makes him both angry and torn because he doesn’t understand that kind of loyalty and he wants to understand things he doesn’t understand lol.
