Saturn Devouring His Children, Stacy Tompkins

This is my interpretation of the piece "Saturn Devourig His Children" (1823) by Francisco Goya. My aim was to capture the essence of violence and dark thinking, both were common in Goya's oeuvre. Painting is on 140lb cold pressed Arches watercolor paper and I used Golden acrylics. Arrives ready to hang in a white float mat and a black wooden box frame. All materials are archival to extend the longevity of the piece.
