Staff Sergeant Devin Mansk.
I was drafting up his military service record for my fic and thought to myself.. yeah I need to draw that man in his dress uniform.
Referenced Kevin Dorman's lovely face, researched the ribbons and badges.
Bless.

Staff Sergeant Butterfly Chrysalis
I had an amazing discussion with one of my cadets today.
Background info: I am a Cadet Staff Sergeant in my school's MCJROTC program, and I'm talking to a first year cadet (it's his first year in the program)
(other cadets=other people in the program)
Cadet: I don't understand how you do it
Me: you don't understand how I do what?
Cadet: how everytime I see you, there is always the biggest smile on your face. No matter how bad of a day you had, you walk into here smiling.
Me: I honestly don't realize I'm smiling that much.
Cadet: but that's not the main thing I don't understand. What I truly don't understand is that you come into ROTC with a smile, even after everything that's happened.
Me: everything that's happened?
Cadet: *brings up how another cadet was being super homophobic to me and good I handled it* and you still smiled afterwards.
Me: I try not to let what the other cadets say to me effect me too much.
Cadet: but even today. I saw you break down for the first time ever, you went away for five minutes, and then came back like nothing happened. You were smiling and talking to the other cadets. And that is the biggest badass move I have ever seen.
Me: I really appreciate it thanks.
Cadet: just so you know, you can always come to me if you need help. Or if you just need me to best someone up, I'll be there. Honestly, every badass needs someone to fight with.
Me: I am thankful for your offer, but for now I'm good.
Cadet: see ya tomorrow staff sergeant
Me: see ya tomorrow private
He also watched supernatural and agreed that the ending sucked ass, sooo..
