Tagged by @ahufflepuffnamedrose to list my top ten favorite female characters from different fandoms and such. And have a got a list for you!! (But Gosh this was hard)
Please note that this is not in any particular order. I love these ladies with all my heart and soul.
1) Nymphadora Tonks (HP)- c’mon dude. She was spunky, fearless about love, an Auror, and a Hufflepuff.
2) Ginny Weasley (HP)- is better at magic AND quidditch than Harry and Ron combined. Possessed by Voldy at 11?! Still went on to be gr8. Her love left her? Still went on to kiCK death eater ass.
3) Homura Akemi (Madoka Magica)- went through literally countless time loops to save her one true love. Straight-up stole weapons from the yakuza, made her own bombs, tried over and over and over again, you can’t say she’s got no backbone by the end of Rebellion * hashtag HomuraDidNothingWrong *
Also, she has great hair.
4) Pearl (Steven Universe)- (I know gems are agender, but since all gems also use she/her pronouns...) loyal bird mom, ballet mom, space ninja mom... aND SHE IS SO PRETTY JUST LET PEARL BE HAPPY
5) Peridot (Steven Universe)- PERIDOT HAS GROWN SO MUCH. She’s capable of a LOT. Remember when she rebelled and called Yellow Diamond a CLOD became a Crystal Gem? RKO’ed Jasper with a STICK? Iconic! Heard that she’s finally going to wear a Star. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
6) Isabelle Lightwood (Shadowhunters)- KILLS DEMONS WHILE IN 6-INCH HEELS. LOVES HER BODY. Need I say more?
7) Yuri (Doki Doki Literature Club)- knife wife who I just... get. Have you seen her poems?! I love that stuff. Forget tall dark and handsome she’s tall dark and DARK.
8) Betty Cooper (Archie Comics, Riverdale)-uH HELLO BETTY IS THE BAE. Girl-next-door, tender loving caring, just wants to be comfy... she really deserves better (in the comic. I don’t know about Riverdale). And can I mention about how her friendship with Veronica is iconic despite their rivalry over Archie?! Damn!
9) Veronica Lodge (Archie Comics, Riverdale)- it’s really hard to dislike Ronnie Lodge. I mean yeah, she’s a little diamond that has to be well-maintained, but I really love her personality-wise. When I was young I related to her the most (because of all the drama we started). AND her friendship with Betty despite what’s-his-name-Redhead? Yeah. Yeah
10) Popuko & Pipimi (Pop Team Epic)- I wish I could’ve been this cool when I was 14.
