Charge up, Persona! (I do think it's kind of amusing that one of your rules talking about characters not having info they shouldn't, and then specifically mentioning Ryuji's existence as a Phantom Thief when, well, it's Ryuji. He may as well have a Megaphone that only activates when he's about to say the phrase "Phantom Thief.")
Thank you! Also to address your point, on my old blog it had gotten to a point where people would make starters for me in which their muses would confront Ryuji and accuse him of being a Phantom Thief - because they had supposedly overheard him say it or that he just so happened to look like Skull. Those people did this without my knowledge or my consent and it was honestly really dismaying to see yet another thread going in that direction.
I always try to show the utmost respect to other muns and their muses and if they happen to have secret identities or secrets, I don’t have Ryuji know or be suspicious of them right off the bat. To be frank, I don’t think that’s very fair - especially when a big part of being a Phantom Thief is the secrecy element. To me, such threads just come off as unrealistic and kind of disrespectful. If you want to do some deep thread where your muse discovers Skull’s identity then 1) ask me about it and 2) actually build up to it beforehand and don’t just throw it onto my lap in our first interaction.
To me, it just came across as a little on the god-modding side. I don’t like it when muses are privy to information that they have no reason to be - or know of. If such a mindset causes me to lose out on possible interactions then so be it, but it got to a point where I was just feeling pretty disrespected and fed up.
I’m sorry for going on this tangent, but I hope you know that there is a very good reason for that rule, in my opinion. In regards to Ryuji being loud, I think that part of him is kind of exaggerated. I would like to think that after his near slip ups in the game, he’d smarten up and try to be more subtle, but hey maybe that’s wishful thinking on my part.
Thanks again, and looking forward to interacting with you.
