stalker!peter follows you around as spiderman every time you leave, he's in the apartment next to yours and any time he hears your door open he's fumbling to get into the suit, tugging the mask over his face and scrambling to crawl up to the roof so that he can watch you leave the building

your closet happens to be right next to his room and any time he hears you gather your laundry he runs to coincidentally be leaving at the same time you are and he takes your laundry for you and walks with you down to the building's laundromat

if we're going really dark he's probably managed to sneak into your window once or twice and get some little cameras that he puts around, he's always got the tab pulled up on his computer and if he hasn't heard noise from your apartment lately he's anxiously checking the tab, scoffing when he realizes you're just lounging on the couch or something and there was no reason for him to freak out

stalker peter will even go as far as to create disturbances around you when he's following you around at night, he knocks over a trash can behind you, he stomps along the roof just out of sight so that you know someone's following you but you're not sure who

then when you're appropriately freaked out he'll stage some brawl in a secluded alleyway just far enough behind you that you won't get to him before the fake criminal 'gets away' so all you see is spiderman sprawled out over the ground or shouting at whoever he'd been fighting with that they'd better not come back, then he's turning to you with a soft, sweet voice, talking about how scared you must have been when that man was trying to mug you, and you're obviously not aware that there was someone trying to mug you but you did hear those funky sounds so you fall for it hook line and sinker and he offers to accompany you home and he gets to talk to you a bunch and he's created this savior image of himself in your head

Your hands, long since entangled in the sticky webbing that held you to the wall, had started to lose sensation. Any struggle you attempted proved futile, only sticking more of your skin to the webs.

You had thought Spider-Man was a hero. You had idolized him, the city's own vigilante, stopping crime in its tracks, looking out for the little guy while simultaneously accidentally uncovering massive schemes.

How could you have predicted this?

How could you have predicted stepping out in front of a car, the corner you crossed from not showing you the vehicle and vice versa? You had processed everything late, hadn't processed the car being there until you were ten feet above it, hadn't processed being grabbed and lifted until you were safely back on the ground, hadn't processed being put down until Spider-Man's mask was in your face, hadn't processed Spider-Man's mask in your face until he was walking you home.

Except, he wasn't walking you home. He was walking you to his home, not yours. He had conveniently left that information out.

He'd coaxed you into his apartment, urging you that you were in a state of shock, that he couldn't, in good conscience, let you sleep alone in your apartment. You'd thanked him kindly for letting you sleep in his bed, brain still whirling with excitement and shock as your body shut down for the night.

You hadn't woken up like you'd gone to sleep. Gone were the plush pillows, silky sheets, and hefty duvet. Instead, you were in a dingy concrete room.

Surely, this had been a horrific accident. Surely, some out-of-this-world super villain had stormed Spider-Man's home, capturing the hero and taking you prisoner. Surely he hadn't gone down without a fight, surely he had struggled.

Your hands were immobile, but everything was too foggy in your brain to examine why.

When you saw the foot of Spider-Man's suit come through the trapdoor at the top of the room you were in, your heart leapt in your chest. You were saved! He'd escaped, and was coming to rescue you!

He landed gracefully on his feet, stalking towards you slowly.

"How did you sleep?"

"You're okay! You're okay, I don't know what happened but-"

"Nothing happened." His voice was inappropriately calm for the situation you were in, and he made no move to help you with your restraints.

"But I was-"

"You were almost killed. But I saved you. And you're safe now."

"But I- you're not," You felt your stomach sink, "Did you do this?"

"Who else?" He gestured to your hands, and for the first time you examined your restraints, noticing that they were webs.

"You.. You're holding me hostage!" You cried, shrinking away from the hero in disguise.

"I'm keeping you safe," He repeated, "You're safe now."
