“I mean, nothing makes a better love story stuff than facing your immortality, right? Nothing gives you better sex scenes than facing your own mortality.” (x)
Stana Katic arrives at the premiere of ‘The Rendevouz’ at the 39th Mill Valley Film Festival at Cinearts @ Sequoia on October 8, 2016 in Mill Valley, California.
“...I love exploring what it means to be alive through the imagination, delving into other people’s psyches. I feel that every human has the capacity to express every emotion. It’s either more or less accessible to us, depending on how we’ve grown up or experienced life. It’s about empathizing with another person, but also recognizing yourself in that person. Which are maybe the same things in the end.” - Stana Katic
"I am open to seeing what happens next, I hope for roles that are engaging, interesting and constantly challenging. As an actress I hope for roles that will challenge audiences, I love vivid storytelling if I can dive into something that will be satisfying in that way, but I have no idea what sort of story I would like to take on next!"
Awake.💋
"I’d rather play a strong woman because I grew up in a family and environment where letting others push you around was not an option!"
“I go for walks all the time. I would walk regularly to work [at Raleigh Studios, near Paramount Studios]. It took me about an hour to get to work and an hour to get home. That walk was really exciting because I got to see an older part of Los Angeles, and sometimes I would meet people along the way that lived in some of the older buildings. These people loved telling me stories about their homes. If the exercise didn’t make me feel great, then these experiences along the way would make it great. And by the time I would get to work I was in a great mind space for a long day of filmmaking.” - Katic, Stana [HQ]
