I'm a 3rd year uni student and didn't even make proper friends until 2nd year lol. I tried hard to speak and be friendly at first but that's so out of my comfort zone so I gave up!! (I hateee small talks too) Waiting made me find people I enjoy speaking with in my own pace! Don't rush it :D I hope you find good people and enjoy your course 💕
