but also the sheer nerve and balls of going back to the bank you robbed as the lead investigator, the teller looking straight in your eye and saying the robber...was you...i mean....looked like you.

Andre takes the lessons from murdering unarmed men and the lack of police presence in the city as a call to start robbing banks (and later coming back to “investigate” the crime). And he’s so close to doing the right thing but just....swing and a miss.
