Taiji kills dolphins after "cherry picking " the best ones by trainers from different parks, the rest slaughtered for animal food and people too but not many eat Dolphin meat. It's pure greed. This is NO TRADITION. Faroe Islands kills for food all the year. Most killings is during summer. For me it's unbelievable that Denmark supports this and have sent police and Danish Navy to arrest Seashepherd volunteers and other activists too. Seashepherd has been banned from going there and only because they are trying to save the species. Don't we have a right to save an animal from being killed? They think they have a right to kill and of course it's a right to save them. Poem Bringing Attention To Whaling BY A 13TH YEAR OLD Hi, my name is Chelsie. I am 14 years old and, I am very passionate about all animals, especially whales. I actually wrote this poem in English class, but my teacher never marked it, so I don't know how good it is. I wrote it because I think whaling is an issue that needs to be brought up more often in order to help stop it. I have been trying to express my feelings about whaling in so many ways: making posters, posting videos on the internet, and so much more, but none of them felt right until I wrote this poem.
