🚨News Flash🚨 Jewish hate hasn't stopped, so we aren't going to stop talking about it
i know i usually dont post about my personal life on tumblr but i just recieved a very important pin in the mail today 🟦
its easy to do and say the fun parts, like punching nazis and deplatforming them, but just as, if not more, importantly, we need to love jewish people, and make sure they have safe spaces in real life and online, and to protect those spaces with all our power, we need to lift up jewish voices and listen when they speak
https://www.standuptojewishhate.org/
American Jewish people make up 2.4% of the population, but endure 55% of Religious hate crimes. I think it’s worth adding my voice, my art, to express my belief in freedom of religion and condemnation of violence and hate. #🟦 #standuptojewishhate #love #avalonspringsfarm #stophate https://www.instagram.com/p/CqT8Q0tpgqM/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
a few resources for education on antisemitism
hello everyone who is probably not listening because it has been A While.
however in case someone finds this useful
one of the things that i tend to have trouble with is just finding Where to Find information to help fight societal problems, such as racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. but i have done various amounts of research on different things, just from things popping up and all of it at different time so here is a variety of things that may be helpful

and if anyone wants to write to politicians here are a few general tips
- make sure you’re from their district; else they may not look at your letter
- emails are easier and letters take longer, but sometimes letters have a better chance of being read carefully
- stay brief and to the point
- not more than a page
- explain why they should care about your voice (ie you’re a voter & this is a major issue for you, if said politician doesn’t speak out against this issue they will lose your vote)
it may not seem like a lot but if dozens do it, it can suddenly seem like there is a lot of support, aka a lot of votes at risk
most politicians dont care about people they care about votes so we have to play their games to save lives.
its not fun and political shenanigans are very few people’s things but when jewish lives are on the line, if you can do something you should.
(ps these tips are not specific to antisemitism/jewish issues they’re general tips for writing to politicians. the sites are more specific. also i’m not jewish so take with a mountain of salt please. finally if you have more resources definitely add on the more support & info we can get out there the better)
(pps i apologize i am bad at tagging things so the tags here are likely Unideal feedback is welcome)
Don't stay silent against antisemitism and stand with the Jewish Community!
